1 Scholarship Program-Kobe International Scholarship(Kobe /Sugawara Scholarship)

• (1) Eligibility
  Private foreign students who are studying at universities and graduate schools as
  regular students(with a student visa). (Undergraduates must be at least in their third year.)
• (2) Stipend
  80,000yen/month
• (3) Number grantees
  30 recipients/year (including some from the previous year)
• (4) Application procedure
  Apply through individual university.(around Feb. - Mar.)

2 "Happy Memory Pass Kobe" Program

The Kobe International Center presents the “Happy Memory Pass Kobe” to international students. We hope that students will take full advantage of the myriad cultural and social opportunities that Kobe City has to offer. This pass allows free admission to museums, parks, shrines, and other cultural facilities around Kobe. The goal is to help students make the most of their study abroad time in Kobe, so that they can share their memories with friends around the world.

• (1) Eligibility
  International students studying at universities, colleges and special training schools in Kobe(with a student visa).
• (2) Application procedure
  Through the individual schools (around April and October, twice a year).
• (3) Period of Validity
  The "Happy Memory Pass" is valid from the day it is received until the end of April of the following year.
