There are many foreign nationals living in Kobe.

The Kobe International Community Center (KICC) supports people who want to learn Japanese at two locations: Shin-Nagata and Sannomiya Nihongo Plaza.

• Conversational Japanese Classes for Beginners

  This is a beginner Japanese language class conducted in a classroom setting by a professional Japanese language teacher.

• Japanese Study Support Program

  One-on-one sessions between KICC supporters (volunteers) and learners.
