The Kobe International Community Center (KICC) offers supporting programs for the international students studying at universities and schools in Kobe.
1 Scholarship Program-Kobe International Scholarship(Kobe /Sugawara Scholarship)

Eligibility
Private foreign students who are studying at universities and graduate schools as
regular students(with a student visa). (Undergraduates must be at least in their third year.) -
Stipend
80,000yen/month -
Number grantees
30 recipients/year -
Application procedure
Apply through individual university.(around Feb. - Mar.)
2 "Happy Memory Pass Kobe" Program
To encourage international students to promote Kobe’s attractions in Japan and abroad, The Kobe International Community Center (KICC) issues the "Happy Memory Pass Kobe", which offers free admission to cultural and educational facilities across the city.
The pass is available to international students enrolled in universities, junior colleges, or special training schools in Kobe City, as well as those living in Kobe City and attending universities elsewhere in Hyogo Prefecture.

Application procedure
Through the individual schools. -
Period of Validity
The "Happy Memory Pass Kobe" is valid from the day it is received until the end of April of the following year. -
